Because of that risk, we already block many AI browsers in the environments we manage. If someone downloads certain AI-enabled browsers or tools, they simply will not run.

Employees need clear guidance on how AI should be used in the business. That includes what information should never be entered into these tools and how to use them in a way that protects client and company data.

Most employees are not trying to do anything wrong. They are trying to be efficient. But without clear policies, training, and safeguards, the technology can create exposure that business owners never intended.

This does not mean businesses should avoid AI entirely. In fact, AI can be incredibly useful when implemented in the right environment.
